Estimated lifespan of 300D's shutter mirror

Bought mine back in early Dec 03 and to my surprise i chalk up 6000 shots (according to the file no). Anione noe when shld i change the shutter mirror??
Read in one of the threads, it abt 10000. Trying to verify on that...

you dont change the mirror... you service the shutter

At what intervals should we service the shutter?

Check your 300D manual - somewhere at the back there might be a specifications page that states the MTBF or lifespan of the shutter.

Guess I better LOL, I clocked nearly 7k shots since I bought it in Nov.
