perhaps it's just me, but it may have been better to show the fireworks in context to the location. i mean, just the fireworks alone, could have been from some other occasion altogether, you know what i mean? ;)

a tad overexposed, but i'm not good at it myself anyway :D

Yup , a little over exposed :) and couldn't frame the fireworks and bridge together from where i was standing :(

Any pointers from the other experts?

too bad i dun know there would be firework on display there.
such a spectacular one.better than te ndp.
could only admire from cosy bay there.

did you choose the smallest f-stop for ur apreture cos the trail seem quite "fat" from my point of view.

All taken with f8 6 Secs ISO 64

the shutter time was too long already, apparently. but there isn't a "bulb" mode on the 5050, is there?...

they are realli beatiful... great piece of skill there.. i like the ways the firework is been shown.

dun know mine C-720 can take such a nice pictures or not?

It's not the long shutter time, it's more to do with a wide aperture used. Try stopping the aperture by 1 stop... Is f8 the limit for 5050?

:)
