Equivalent of AF-S to 3rd party lens

Hi Guys,

I'm not to familiar with 3rd party Lens like SIGMA, TAMRON and TOKINA.

I would like to know what is the equivalent of Nikkor AF-S lens to SIGMA, TOKINA, TAMRON?

It will help us a lot to know this specially for those D40/D40x users.
