I just got this email from Epson:
Good afternoon.
We communicated last June about the Stylus Photo R800 printer.
We're not sure if you've already bought the printer when you were in
Australia - from your previous email.
Our Sales division would like to update you that we've launched this model
this month as of 20th October 2004.
Product is available for demonstration at our Epson Square showroom at :-

10am to 7pm => Mondays to Fridays.

Ok, just called all the numbers. Cheapest price was MacShop, who I was able to push down to $690 (cash price only). 2nd cheapest was Cathay @ $695. Global IT Mart $698 and Ruby $700. MacShop have stock (some of the others don't have).
Epson RRP is $738.

U can check out the prints at the Epson showroom at Funan. Just went there yesterday for a demo.
