What does it mean, when you recharge batteries, the light is blinking red?
Batteries dead already?

Anyone knows?

Thanks in advance.

which charger u using? u still got the manual?

in my old sanyo charger, when it is blinking red, think it means either batt faulty or the charger too hot.....cant rem is which....

i think you are using the grey color charger right?
come on, it's normal :)
i mean if my set is working fine from the 1st dayi purchased.

when u 1st slot in the battery, the red light blinking....
but when the batt in full charged.. it will stay in red permanently.and i use the tester to test the battery, it's fully charged :)

hope it help..

I get the blinking light problem all the time too, with both brand new as well as used sanyo 2500s.

In addition, I have this problem with self-discharging.

http://forums.hardwarezone.com/showthread.php?t=1086360&page=1&pp=15

I can charge 2500s with sanyo's own charger, and about 2 days later they can't power up devices like the compactdrive. They only work if I use them within 1 day of charging.

The 2500s do self discharge a lot faster than previous batteries. Guess its due to the reduced internal resistance. Just try to always charge before use.

another problem u might facing if the red ligh non stop blinking...
do this.
unplug the chargerbring it to a dedicated plug. (meaning no other sharin devices)
it work fine for me int his case.

Mine is the Bluish quick charger. When charging is steady red light. When its full it turns off

if that is true, it blows!

i mean, that 2500 sanyo batt is supposed to have longer batt life but if true that it also discharge faster, what is the point? means that the nett life abt the same as the older 2300 batt after a couple of days right?

no wonder they go dead so fast with less intense use.... hmmmm...

is there any where with more info on this?
