Hello guys,

Would like to share my happiness on my very first DSLR, which is ==> Kx!!
I got this camera on last October, the week before the little india outing. Since then I am only manage to play around with the kit lens and the M 50mm f1.7 manual lens. From what I'd heard in this forum and some of the guys during the outing, saying that don't under estimate the performance of the kit lens, although a normal kit lens but it will produce a sharp picture too....Till now I have to agree that it is a very good lens and most of my blur pictures were believe due personal handling of the camera :(

Below are some of the photos that I took on the 3 lens (18-55mm kits, 50mm f1.7 and tomron 17-50mm f2.8), hope that I can have some comments from you guys here, I believe it will improve my skill on taking a good picture in future.

18-55mm Kit lens:

I really like this 50mm f1.7 very much, too bad that I'm selling off due to the recent acquisitions on DA35mm and Tommy 17-50mm f2.8

haha i sold off mine also, for the same reason of gettting the DA35. i found out the IQ of these 2 lenses were very similar, and i prefer the 35mm over 50mm reach anyday. hmm i duno but i find the sigma 50 1.4 to have excellent IQ. believe it shld be much better than the pentax equivalent though i think this will bring me some bashing:bsmilie:

Sigma 50 1.4 does produce sharp image as many users had said. But color wise I still prefer FA50 1.4 coz I find the color to be very smooth and blends in well.

to TS, actually no need to sell off that manual lens. Just keep it. I still keep my Cosina 50mm 2.0 as I love the colors. Cosina will be my 1st choice to bring out rather than FA50mm unless I feel lazy to manual focus. haha

Photography are fun but sometimes I'm quite up set if the picture doesn't came out well. Need more practice and really want to enjoy every moment when I release the button of the shutter. :)
