Defending champions Chelsea host local rivals Fulham on Saturday without captain John Terry who had back surgery this week (up and running again the next day). Playmaker Joe Cole is ruled out with a fractured foot ( may need surgey) while Dutchman Arjen Robben is also unfit for the west London derby.

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson is not taking anything for granted ahead of Saturday's visit by Reading, who held United to a 1-1 draw in September and have surprised many with their strong start to the season. Reading have hold Chelsea to 22 draw last week.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has told his side to be more ruthless in front of goal when they visit Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday,Tottenham, who will pull level with Liverpool if they win, will be looking for their 13th successive home victory in all competitions. Big match of the weekend.

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor will miss Saturday's match at Sheffield United. The Togo international player of the last two years who has scored three times in his last four games, picked up a thigh injury.

Fifth-placed Portsmouth travel to fourth-placed Bolton Wanderers on Saturday without their top scorer Nwankwo Kanu, who is being rested. Because footballers need to rest.
