Aperture: f8
Speed: 1/60 sec
W/B: Incandescent
Lens: 18 - 70 mm

C&C is always welcome.

Doesnt work for me :dunno:

Could be the shadows, could be the colours, the position of the egg outside the basket is dodgy, sorry, just doesnt work for me.

Edit: The cloth aswel, doesnt go well in my opinion.

I think the shadows are too harsh. Doesn't work for me either.

will only comment on the lighting..

soft or hard lighting are depend what setting or mood you want to create.
but what bother me is that you have two light source, may I know which one is the kay light?

The flash is a tad too harsh, and the shadows are all over the place. You might want to diffuse the strobe, and use fill in... the egg outside looked a little more like an orange.

wildstallion, cbma, catchlights and microcosm thx alot for your comments and suggestions.

The problems:
1) Shadows too harsh
2) Outside egg wasn't properly positioned
3) The cloth also did make it. Actually its the whole piece of black cloth.
4) Lighting also. My main lighting was from the top.

All points taken and I'll do the necessary corrections.
