EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM or EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS which would be a better choice. From the canon retail price it seems that EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is going off for a higher price but why?

28-135 use USM, thus cost slightly higher than the 18-135.

18-135 would be a better choice as it has a wider angle than the 28-135.
