EastGear BP 511 cannot be charged by Canon charger

My East Gear BP 511 cannot be charged by my Canon charger ( that comes together wif my 300D) . Does anyone have the same problem ? How to overcome this ? Thx.

is it a new battery?
and have you checked with EG?

battery was bot a few mnths back. had used the G1 to charge the batt but now found that I cannot use the canon charger to charge it.

hmm.... can you elaborate more, what do you mean cannot be charged by your Canon charger? I have 3 Canon chargers for BP511s, and of many BP511s, I have 4 from EG, I don't think I ever had any problems. If you can be more specific, someone here may be able to help you better, and we all can benefit from your experience.

basically the charger juz dun charge. the red blinking light won't blink, meaning the charging is not being done.
