Hey folks -

We have mother's day, father's day ....and all those other days. How about
returning one back to the earth.....in fact let's start with an hour when we use energy the most......

Saturday 31st March - 7.30pm to 8:30pm
-------------------------------------------------
Earth Hour: On one night for one hour turn off all your lights and find out how much of a difference we make as a united world.....in fact probably best to just go out in Singapore and take photos of how Singaporeans conserve!!!

For more information on the initiative check out www.earthhour.org

Have fun

can cut down on our need to use PC for everything. electrical power consumed.

does ur PC consume more power than dedicated devices built jus for its intended purpose? hi-fi, TV, pics (prints vs digi), etc?

This exercise can cause a severe surge in power cosumption between 8:30pm to 8:35pm. Start up energy consumes slightly more energy just for that split of a second. Eg. Multiply that by 100,000 participating household (in Singapore) could cause a sudden surge at the power station. Should be harmless anyway.
