Also any tips on setting for night shots..eg..buildings..landscapes...etc....

Thanks in advance....

wat lens r u using? if u r using 14-45mm and 40-150mm, inside camera menu if u r setting the focus ring direction turn clockwise. That means when MF, turn counterclockwise direction is turning to infinity.

Anyone know more pls share..Thx ya.

That was one of the first questions I asked when I bought my E300 some 9 months ago :)

Here's the thread with some suggestions...

Basically you do not have any way of focusing to infinity with the 14-45 and the 40-150. What you can do is set the aperture and then manually turn the focusing ring until you see that everything is sharp in the viewfinder...

Anyway, I've upgraded to the 14-54 liao... ;)

The problem is that, through the viewfinder you cant tell if the furthest subject is clear especially at dark and far....
Yah saw the earlier thread on infinity focusing, got a better idea now. Lots of trial n error to work on.
Thanks guys for the input.
