I am still shooting with E20... until the new owner come along claiming ownership of it... BUT, am I tempted to D60 or 10D... I am just going back to tradition... Film SLR...

Anyway, just this evening, saw kindred at the Esplanade... Also saw a group of photographers, one of them is on E20 (If I didn't make a mistake...)

Also saw a E10 user at Bugis Junction this afternoon, shooting fashion show...

Miles better than some 50mm 1.8s if I might say so. The E-10 lens bokeh is pretty darn good.

You can look at this RAW converted shot using Adobe's Camera Raw (ACR) plugin. E-10 shot at ISO 160.

The info begins from here:

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1022&message=4745163

specifically, http://studioq.com/P2210159.tif

Look at the message following this one for an even cleaner conversion.

http://studioq.com/P2210229.tif

Please download the images only if you have broadband, or be prepared for a very very long download time (7megs ORF and 21 meg TIFFs).

With ACR, you can get pretty amazing images from the E-10 and 20, provided you shoot only in RAW. You get up to 7MP of usable picture when you use ACR's excellent built in interpolator.

ps. If the images look slightly soft, it's because no USM has been applied. I'd suggest a high pass sharpen or luminance sharpening to get the best out of these images.

this is a 50mm 1.8 DOF:

the glass mug one is cheating dof (closeup + long background), I can do it with my 2100uz.. no offence...

It's inevitable that you have to 'cheat' DOF with a digicam that has a much smaller recording media than 35mm film. The 2100UZ has excellent bokeh as well.
