Was at SBG to shoot at about 4pm when I notice this Lesser Whistling duck keep flapping its wings. Too bad I crop off the feet as I didnt bring my shorter lens. Shot with 40D + 400mm at 1/1250s, f5.6, ISO800. PS off some distracting BG grass to make the photo cleaner. Would like to know if my composition is right or give suggestion for better composition.

omy, the feets got cut off? and whats that pile of dung on the bottom right side? haha.

but generally, the sharpness and colors are commendable here :D

nice pic, sharp. Composition is ok to me..as it's not a very complicated picture.

nice! but i feel that the feet is somehow oddly cut off...

I suggest not putting the bird right smack in the middle but for this pic...a little to the right, to give it "space" for it to flap its wings and move into.

Personally, I feel that the cropping of the legs rather inappropriate, the picture feels incomplete. Try zooming out next time?

Anyway, nice sharp eyes, I feel that thats the most important part for this pic, the wings OOF or slightly blur never mind.
