need some advice...
if i wanna take those shots at F1, what kind of lense should i go for?
and what abt taking shots at soccer games??
can use same lense?
anyway, i'm using the d5000..currently with 18-55 and 55-200 lenses

just bought tickets for Bay Grandstand for 3 days.. but intend to go at walkabout for 1st two days.. only actual day sitting on grandstand..

I recommend shooting more and get experienced with your equipment first. No point asking for lens advice if you have not much clue how to take pictures under such conditions as F1 race or stadium. Read about the basics, go and try in any stadium, see how it works (or doesn't work). You'll see for yourself where the limitations of your equipment are, makes it rather obvious what kind of lens is needed. Finally, ask your budget
