I am thinking of getting a digital SLR camera. I got an offer from a friend for a Canon 300D Kit with lens, 2nd hand (Condition Rating: 9~10) for S$600~650.
Another friend suggest me to get a Nikon D40 new for S$900+.
I did a comparison between the two in dpreview.com. As a newbie don't know nuts but the figures looks about the same. Technology wise I think Nikon would be better because the D40 just came out and Canon's 300D is EOL. Then again I could be wrong.
Any suggestion, comments, recommendations are welcome.
