'DSC****'file is by what type of camara?

wanna know DSC***** format file are of what band of camara? it is like for panasonic, it would be 'P*********'. DSC is for what? sony? cos i last time use sony but stop for a long time liao. tks for the help

well, i think that DSC is more like a universal filename tag something like EXIF which is used by a number of camera makers.
