well...based on my estimates, my 36l's gonna last me for the next 5+ years? So i'd still go for the 36litre one :)

I'm using an 80L which still has room for future equipement without having to cram stuff in.

After doing some searching and reading, I ended up choosing the model that allows you to set the desired RH digitally.

May I ask where did you obtain the quotes? TQ.

digicabi thread. i used the forum search tool to find it.

5 years is an awfully long time with 36l but i am guessing if not enough space simply buy another cabinet?

small better

then you won't feel the urge to fill it up

or put your bag inside :bsmilie:

I bought the Digi Cab 36L model
which is 30litres from MSColor AMK
Carry it by myself home.

Depends on your needs.
For newbie i thk 30L is enough

The bigger the better :bsmilie:

I agree , buy as BIG as you can afford. Cos you will realize that 36l is not enough in one or two years.

90L is plenty and you can put in other media like CD's or HDD's

Just buy the one that can hold all your current gear plus those that are on your must buy list.

Getting one that is just right or too small IMO will defeat the purpose as you will surely get ichhy then buy something and then you realise dry box too small.

The marginal difference is not much take the 30L n 50L $50 difference, I take it as a $50 dollar "insurance" for 2 years, so new purchases can be accommodated plus the extra gear.

If you really didn't buy any new stuff can always put your watch, portable HDD, digicam etc.

started with 60L..... within 2 years full liao

But really,
I can fit my 17-50mm, 70-200mm, 105mm macro, 10.5mm fisheye,50mm, 2 speedlights, my D90 and my Dad's compact very well now! ;)

in the distant future, maybe i'll buy a UWA lens and perhaps a powerful telephoto?
Those will still fit in my 36l (though a tad tight ) Otherwise, I could always store my speedlights elsewhere since they don't really to be stored at 45% RH :bsmilie:

May I know where did you get the quotation from? Have you bought one? If yes, where did you buy it from?

Sorry ask too many question, as I am looking to buy one.

i bought a 60L digicabi dry cabinet. funny thing is the dimensions is slightly smaller than my current 50L AmPro cabibet. :dunno:

i'm still figuring how to adjust the heights of the tray. can someome help?

Sorry to side track. Since its on the issue of dry cabinet, may i ask if which brand is better?
And how is the particular brand better?
-Digi Cabi
-Akurai Digi

Thanks Guys;p

basically both same thing. whichever cheaper as long similar specs.

Just to ask, would you guys actually want to know the actual merchant to merchant cost of these dry cabinets or dont care since no matter how much, dry cabinet is a eventual necessity?
