I am currently shopping for a dry cabinet. I just need a small one(probably a 30L or a 40L). I am interested in the AD-36 or a DHC-40. I like the DHC-40 much better since its control and display is both digital(AD-36 is digital display only) but the price difference is around 100SGD. I do not mind the analogue controls. What I like to know is that if I open the AD-36 do I need to tune again the RH controls?

Do you know where can I buy the DHC series? Can I only buy it at the distributor(Digihub)?

You may need to re-tune the levels if you change the load for the AD series. Tat's according to some of the users.

I use the DHC and never bother except for the first initial setting.

Im a owner of DB-036... Ya u're right~ If the load changes in a big amount, then i will have to do slight adjustment. Once the settings is correct, i have never touch the controls. When there's new equipment, i'll monitor the readings.

Take note that for the first time tuning of the settings for analog, it will be quite tedious compared to the DHC model if you do not know how to do it.

Does it mean when the weather changes in SG, raining season against the dry season, does we need to readjust with DB36 while the digital model we do not need to do it ?

I don't think so , we buy a dry cabenet because we don't want the weather to affect your equipment, unless we put more things(or take out) inside your cabinet, we don't have to adjust it according to the weather:)

It's more of a loading issue.... more gear inside or less gear inside...

This will affect it, not the external weather...

i agree with the bro here on the tedious part, you may need around 3 days to correctly tune the level.. but that's the cost of saving some $$.. haha..

yupz.. weather will not cause the change in the dry cab.. but better put it somewhere when the temperature around it dont changes too much in the day ( i put in the storeroom) .. and finally, it depends on whether or not you will expand your collections in the future ( only u will know yourselves.. haha)
