Dry Cabi or tripod first

Tripod is really a specialist tool, more so than people realise. I think too many people buy tripod, but end up not really using it.

Good to have, not a must-have (again, depends on what kind of subjects you shoot).

Dry cab, on the other hand, is an essential, given S'pore's climate.

quite true.. singapore is kind of humid.. if your equipments are still in small colelction, go for a cheapo dry box those put silica gel one.. or else, save up and go straight for dry cabinet..

For tripod depends how long the photographer can stay still if using like iso100 and AV mode. My max is 2s before image becomes an abstract due to camera weight.

sad to say, most of the time my camera is attached to either monopod or tripod and for handheld i use rapid fire and hope for a good one if there is no support handy.
