does prosumer camera like canon sx series, need to keep in dry box?


since it does not have detachable lens

You use a dry cabinet to moderate the humidity to prevent mold from growing. I'm guessing mold can grow just about anywhere. Plastic, metal, glass. If it's an expensive camera, it's probably worth getting a dry cabinet to try and get the maximum lifespan out of it.
My dry cabinet says to keep the humidity around 40-55% for camera's/lenses.
