Does anyone use drybox? Which brand? How much? Where did u buy it?
thanks:D

If you don't have many equipments and have very little budget, just get a sealed food container from NTUC then put the dyhumidifier for cloths inside.

The next level is a simple dry box with silicon gel purchased seperately.

It doesn't matter what brand you are buying since all do the similar job.

If you are willing to pay more, get a dry cabinet. There are not many options for you to select anyway.

ya i am referring to a dry cabinet..or the dry cabinet is the bigger one and the dry box is a small one?
i saw some at MS Color (AMK) that has rechargeable gel...

As the name tells dry cabinet is a cabinet with a clear door in front.

And dry box is just a box with a lid at the top...

Prices of dry box is less than half of a dry cabinet.

Dry cabinet need electricity to run dehumidifier unit.

Dry box use silica gel to keep humidity inside dry box lower than outside.

thanks for all your quick reply..

so far i only have a 350D, 18-55mm kit lens and 28-135 IS USM...
m thinking of going for a dry box..any recommended brand or location to buy?

Dry cab is better. Dry box need silica gel. Usually you only have blue silica gel as your choice. Blue silica gel is cheap. But blue silica gel contain cobalt chloride as a blue humidity indicator. While silica gel is not dangerous, cobalt chloride is known as carcinogen agent. Cancer caused agent.

The choice is yours.
