Drumfest 2005 - Photo Competition

Calling all interested guys!!
The Youth Executive Committees (YECs) in the South East Region will be organising the Community Drumming Festival, as part of a series of events
for the People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM) Youth Month Celebrations.
The event will be from 15 to 18 June 2005 with its main focus on a
performance of various ethnic percussion instruments by 3000 students.
On the 18th June 05, there will be a Community drumming Festival held at ITE College (Simei). Inconjunction, FengshanYouth Group is having a Photo Competition.

Date: 18 June 2005
Time: 2-9pm
Venue: ITE College East (Simei)
Fee: $16 (Student category - <18 yr)
$25 (Open Category - 18 & above)

Registration fee include membership to Fengshan CC Photography Club as well as PAssion Card... PLUS you stand to win attractive Prizes!!

1st Prize: Canon EOS350D kit
2nd Prize: Canon Ixus 700
3rd Prize: Canon Powershot A95

Terms and Conditions:
1. Judges’ decisions are final.
2. Each participant is allowed one entry of at least 4 mega pixels.
3. All entries are to be sent to DMH in jpg format.

4. The copyright of the images shall remain with the photographer. However, the images may be used by Fengshan CC (FSCC) or Canon for any purposes.
5.Uncollected prizes will be forfeited within one month of the announcement of the results.
6. Registration fee of a) S$16.00 (student category) and b) S$25.00 shall be made collected for the competition. The registration fee will include membership to FSCC Photography Club as well as Passion Card.
7.Closing date for entries is 22 June 2005 4pm.

yeah I agree, seems like lately lots of pple have been adding such a term & condition? It doesn't cover whether they need to pay any royalties when they use your print, which negates the pt of owning the copyright.

Definitely not. It is a festival, not a military drum corp. I am in the SJIMB. Playing drums currently for bagpipes.
