Does your K-x Kit Lens DA 18-55mm have a plastic mount?

Question for recent K-x owners:

Am wondering whether K-x kits sold at present in Singapore are with the cheaper DA-L series i.e. with plastic mounts (instead of the costlier DA series with steel mounts?)

I bought my K-x in early November for close to a thousand dollars and it came with a DA 18-55 kit with steel mount. How about yours?

Am I also correct in assuming that the DA series lenses also offer the useful Quick Shift focusing ability whereas the DA-L series do not?

depends on which version of the DA1855 is.

the DAL has optically same formula with DA1855 version II, which is presumably (at least as officially claimed) better than version I.

No, DA-L lenses do not have quick shift.
