Does Sigma lens or Cannon lens have more sale value?

Does Sigma lens or Cannon lens have more sale value? Just curious as i will be buying my additonal lens soon and not sure if that lens i will use very long so just wanna check it out which have more resale value ^.^ cheers

There's no "Cannon", but there is Canon. As for resale value, it really all depends on the lens. It's not a brand vs. brand thing. It's the specific lenses.

Look a the marketplace section, get a good idea of the resale price of many lenses, then compare to the brand new price.

IMO, the resales value should not be your main decision in your lens choice. If it is a concern, buy 2nd hand lens to minimize your 'loss'.

There are rental shops to test lenses over a weekend. Can help avoiding reselling a lens.

not recommended but i 'tested' lenses with zero cost by buying and selling. beats paying the rental fee. you just have to make sure u buy at a price that is reasonable.
