yes. its relatively, positively safe...

....as long as *** still in power. hehehe :)
otherwise...will have to reassess first.

How come no option for "no difference" whichever way.

Safe from others doesn't means safe from yourself.

Could be as safe as putting it in a biscuit tin under the bed.

Even flood comes tin will float. :bsmilie:

that reminds me... have to swich to new polymer notes- waterproof!!

Come come open a bank account with me in nigeria, i have access to the royality bank account and i will register your name to the account then you can draw out double the amount in no time :p

think money in DBS/POSB should be safer? yes.. no.. ??

[Do you think that your deposits in the banks in Singapore are safe?]

Question may be wrong if you meant the local banks (banks of local origin) such as DBS-POSB/UOB/OCBC.

"banks in Singapore " can mean any of the numerous ones found in the Yellow Pages. Look under "Bank".

Does it matter? Chaos is about to begin......and the vultures will be looking for the companies going down. The rich get richer and no lessons are learnt from this crisis. Anyway Spore has got good gold reserves so should be in a better position than many other countries and not have to print money out of thin air (like the US)

bailout is the new buzzword. will use that when need MP help!! :bsmilie:

that word should be on the tip of every bankrupt's tongue!! :bsmilie:

My question is valid regardless of the origin of the banks as long as the banks are licensed and approved by MAS.
