I think Singaporeans are bilingual for most everyday conversation, when it comes to technical jargon we are hopelessly inadequate. Found out on my first trip to china to do training many years ago when I had to learn how to correctly call most common computer peripherals. :embrass:

I dont think there are tamil words for most of them.

I am no indian but I think there should be. Else how do they communicate in their language while taking abt photography?

Maybe someone can help the rest of us out by typing the "pronounciation" on the side?

Just for fun and knowledge... Could someone started by putting some "pronounciation" beside the english words? Add other words that you think will be useful.

How do u say "Router", "Switch", "Hub", "Cross-over cable" and "Straight cable" in Mandarin? :what:

I really had problems toking to a friend from China when he approached me for help with his computer. To make things worse, his command of English is quite bad.
