Do we need to do aligenment checks and test and recalibration?

Do all experts, do you need to do aligenment checks and test and recalibrationon your lens? Do you send your lens for servicing? How often will you need to do such things? Can I buy a len with only shop warranty?

I only CLA if my lens got lots of annoying fungus or got problem in it or lots of dust hence it hunts when you try to focus [like what happened to my 135 DC last week :cry: ]
Besides that, no.
My 7 yrs old first lens [ AFD 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 ] is still as sharp from the day given to me.
