Do S2IS needs Highspeed Memory cards?

As above. I am purchasing a Canon S2 IS off the garage sales to try out some manual camera functions as well as the massive 12X Zoom etc...

Do I need a high-speed memory card for its movie recording and 5mega-pixel snapping?

Also, anyone tried the newer HCSD (dunno if this is the correct name) cards that is 4GB?:dunno:

nope u dun need a highspeed card for ur cam , just a normal card will do for u , if u really need just get a scandisk ultra ll will suit ur need.

No need to scandisk memory cards.... but I will go for Kingston instead of SANDISK.

I think Elite Pro at 45x is ok. Or sandisk Ultra 2 is 66x right? Or Transcend 80x. No need those 120x, 133x or 150x.
