very tempted to try. but i really wonder why Fuji does not do it before each lens leaves the factory, if it's that simple. there must be a reason for it.

can we send it to fujifilm singapore and get it fixed?

If it is that simple, why not let someone who had practise do it...? and it will be covered under warranty.. I did not know the 35mm has a loose aperture ring too. I thought only the 14mm has it...

Initially I hated the loose aperture ring. But after shooting with in on my recent trip, kind of got use to it. on the bright side, it is easy to change aperture. The instances when I shot in the wrong aperture due to this is also quite rare...
