1. In which area is critique or feedback to be given?
looking for comments on my composition, and maybe color?

2. What were you hoping to achieve with this image?
Was hoping to convey the message of the muddy conditions that the person had to go through during the rainy season in singapore.

3. Under what circumstance was the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
was at an event during the previous week and the event was in the middle of a field in potong pasir. and due the "wonderful" weather, everyone had to plow through (okay not that bad la) the mud just to get to the tent to enjoy the concert that was going on.

4. Thread-starter's personal thoughts about the image.
the focus cld have been slightly more focused on the shoe and the thingy at the top right cld have been avoided?

focusing is off. only a tiny part of the shoe is in focus.

composition wise..more of the shoe might be better.. preferably with some muddy background?

ur shoe is also not muddy enough...

What was the thing and subject that was going thru ur mind when u was about to take the pic. I can see that the focus was on the toe rather then the shoes, and like what nysheng comment, ur shoes not muddy enough.

was expecting to see a white sports shoe to completely covered in mud. :p

It will be better if the whole shoe is focused.
