I recently returned from Perth in the heat of summer. I realized that shots taken at midday (I didn't have much choice of the time of day) appear blown out regardless of the setting I used. I read another post suggesting usage of filters.
- Need help on where I can find newbie information on filters
- Which filter will work best for this. Another post stated GND, CP - no idea what these mean!
- Can we stack filters for different effects?

Thanks!

- http://www.garryblack.com/filters-1.htm
- Can you post some of those blown out shots for us to see? What kind of shots were you trying to take?
- Stacking multiple filters might cause lens flare.

hope this helps.

GND = gradual ND filter
CP = Circular Polaizer
