Hey bros,
Anyone here have any idea how to edit your digital photo making them look like those flim ones?
Cause i realli love those flim photos, there's something inside the film photos that attracts me alot. I call that the "paper feel" haha... I tried playin around with my saturations and contrast of my photos but i just couldn't achieve that. )=

you can add sprocket holes, add grain, add contrast and saturation, but nothing beat the real things.

maybe you should consider just shooting it on film instead.

Try the levels curves and also try isolating a range of colours, blank out the rest and use whatever saturation tools on that instead. It's a lot of work, which is why film is the best.

Have you tried sending to a shop to print or do you print them yourself?

Agreed. Texture overlays may add a film-like feel to photos too.

I also think if film is what suits you, might just shoot them directly and you shall be contented.

I tried one this week, result of which you can see below. I got some theory from other photographer (he is much more advanced in PP) and he gave me following links (I didn't apply the 2nd link regarding frames here). What I tried is to get the feel of old paper copy.
