Digital camera as web cam

does anyone know of any good 2-3 Mp DC that can also be use as a webcam?

but i was thinking since i was getting a webcam, why not get a digital camera that also can be used as a webcam, not the other way around. at least then i could get better pics with it.

the s602 cost too much as a webcam, as i will be getting a 4-5 mp as my main camera.

i am just seeing what options i have? i it cost too much then i would prob get a normal webcam.

is there any digital camera that can also be use as a webcam that cost < $300?

Actually any digital camera which has a video-out can be used as a webcam if you have a image capture card... but you definitely will *not* be getting 2MP of picture from the output... simply because it'll be incredibly slow

Why waste the digital camera when a good/cheap webcam costs ~$50 only?

Of course, if you want to take timelapse photos that's another matter
