Digital cam what do i NEED - kindly help

i need a digital cam .. to take photo of the small object
abt the size of 10cent coin .. close up photo of it .. and i need it to be clear . so i can post it opn the net ..

what kinda digital cam would i need .

i want to keep the cost low .. kindly suggest ..
what kinda .. mege pixel would i be comfortable with to get
clear shot of .. small item .. for use on the net ..

actually if it's meant for the Net, you don't need some super duper digital cam. all you need is something with a macro mode, which allows photog of close-up objects. most digicams come with this these days, even the low-end ones.

of course if you want a high-quality image, that's a different matter altogether.

what's your budget btw? need more details before we can comment.

i need the picture to be clear ..
yeh i need the macro mode which you are talking ..
i want to take small gem and jewel so i hope the color can be shown . as for the cost i'm trying to see look for something cheap
which can do the work for me .. not going for those fancy
digital cam with tons of modes and fancy effect .. just a decent
can which can do a clear shot .. for jewel and ring , pendant , ear ring . small object ..

Your best choice is the Nikon Coolpix 950, 990 and 995. Macro as close as 2cm, and a 10 cent coin can fill the frame.

i check the price and is kinda costly ..
