Hi everyone! Can someone explain how the cropping ratio relates to non full frame digital cams? I was told that it does'nt really affect the perspective.
Perspective can be described as the angles in wich parrallel lines converge in a scene, which only has to do with where and in which direction the observer (camera) is looking. Different focal lengths / film sizes give you a different "crop" from that scene with the same perspective. Talking about APS versus 35mm film format, APS crops more tightly using the same lens.
