Hi everyone! Can someone explain how the cropping ratio relates to non full frame digital cams? I was told that it does'nt really affect the perspective.
 

Perspective can be described as the angles in wich parrallel lines converge in a scene, which only has to do with where and in which direction the observer (camera) is looking. Different focal lengths / film sizes give you a different "crop" from that scene with the same perspective. Talking about APS versus 35mm film format, APS crops more tightly using the same lens.
 

OIC does that mean that they are unrelated? Does that mean that the cropping simply cuts out a border ard the image instead of shrinking the image?
