Any Bros/ Sis out there who's conversant on this topic? Would the quality of photos taken on a DSLR with a Digi Scope be inferior to those taken by a telephoto lens? I'm looking at "shooting birds" (aka bird watching)... Any views?

Generally a super tele takes better pictures but the quality of pictures from digiscoping can be surprisingly and acceptably good. A scope would have the advantage of a longer focal length as it can easily go beyond 1000mm.
