different setting?

i have a normal digicam(panasonic lc20)...and it got those preset setting...but i dun know when to use scenary mode...i always use the normal auto mode..wat is the diff btw scenary mode and auto mode>?

As far as I understand,
when you use landscape mode, the camera user the smallest aperture (largest f number) possible without possbily causing a hand shake. This gives the highest possible Depth of Focus (you can search this forum for its meaning).
So use landscape mode when you want everything (from objects near you to objects near infinity) to look sharp and in focus.
