Sb700 is around same power as sb600 but sb700 offers a lot more features.

Sb800 is more powerful than sb700 but has been discontinued.

SB600 has been discontinued as well.

Oh yes. Just discontinued. But some shops still have stock.

So there you go, only sb700 and sb900 available now.

SB-600 slightly more power than SB-700, But SB-700 menu easier & more idiot-proof (perfect for dummies like me lol)

Anyone know what is the RSP for SB700?

Please look at the Nikon price guide in marketplace/price guides section for pricing information. Thanks.

Thanks everyone!

SB-600 if you 'die die' want to enjoy Nikon CLS. Can be used on-camera, also can be used as CLS wireless slave and 'commanded' by the built-in flash on some Nikon DSLRs.
SB-700 if you want full CLS features and many more features, but cannot afford the SB-900.
SB-900 will be the work-horse for just about any shooting situation, versatility, power, CLS, etc.
