I've got a bounce card from sulhan for my Sunpak PZ5000 and was wondering whether to get the Stofen Omnibounce as well.

Whats the difference between the 2? Do I need both or will one suffuse?

Stofen Omnibounce is like a diffusor, which you mount in front of the flash to reduce the intensity of the flash by distributing the light over a wider angle.

(see the picture of the flash on the top of the webpage, the white plastic mounted in front of the flash is the 'Omnibounce')

The bounce card on the other hand, is a card (usually white) that is mounted on top of the flash head and angled so that the light is reflected off the white surface of the card towards the subject in front.

It is sometimes used when there isn't a low ceiling for the flash to bounce off.

A popular type of commerically available bounce card is the Lumiquest bounce cards.

a bounce card is also used in conjunction with ceiling bounced flash, to provide some forward firing fill flash.
