I chance upon this video on youtube, found it to be quite interesting.

Have always wanted to try developing film on my own but totally don't have the balls to try it out. :bsmilie:

Or rather not sure where to start. E.g. the tools one needs in order to kick off the 'dark room experience'.

Anyways, the sad part of this video is that I don't think the website mentioned in the video ships to Singapore. :(

I believe as much as this developer saves time and simplifies the process, I think it's better to just stick with the tried and true developers for sake of control, tonality or push/pull development. No need to fly in this chemical and reinvent the wheel. Can look for ruby photo as a start they have everything you need

There's a formula for mixing your own monobath starting with standard HC-110 so you can try if you want even though the company doesn't ship outside U.S. http://new55project.blogspot.sg/2010/01/donal-qualls-successful-monobath.html

But why bother ? You still have to rinse the film after development, so you only really save the fixing step. From the description, it's auto-limiting too so less worry about timing, and the standard temperature (27C) is close to Singapore temperature so need to mess with ice baths and all that. But the sticky in this forum already gives a recipe for 1:100 HC-110 processing which is suitable for Singapoore room temperature processing.
