Hi,

I understand that if I want my photo to be developed it will be cropped by the 3:4 theory. I also understand that the photo lab will help to crop out the right size.

My question is, how do I self crop as i want some words on the picture itself. Am I able to do so so that the shop would not need to crop for me?

Thanks

4R is 3:2, not 4:3.

use photoshop, photoshop elements etc to crop.

thanks but what is the measurement? like what times what... maybe like if i got a 1024X960 photo, what's the measurement i should take? (i've checked... 1024X960 is a acceptable measurement)

Using PS: Set to Fixed Aspect Ratio 3:2 for Landscape shots and 2:3 for Portraits. Then you would know what areas are going to be cropped off.

erm thanks but where to change?
