What was his brother's name? it slipped my mind. thanks

The late James W. Ho, was a fine Portraitist(Portrait Artist)as he would like to be known.
He has photographed Portraits of Royalty, Presidents and the Elite.
James started out as an Artist and trained in the US with famous Portrait Masters.
This is a Tribute to a man who was once a very famous and well know Portraitist in the Professional Photography circle.
He knew the value of his work and always pushed himself to the limits.
Recent years with failing health he undertook to lecturing in Photography.
A very dear friend whom I have known for over 20years.
We were best of friends having countless meals and nights out together during better times.
The Professional Photography fraternity will be turning up in full force tonight.
Many old friends will be coming to see the late James W. Ho, some perhaps for the last time.
James W. Ho will be missed but not forgotten especially by me.

Rest in Peace forever...

Mel Joseph

is he very famous?

My wife and I both had our graduation photos taken by him.

Also an extended family portrait. He was very professional with good rapport.

May he rest in peace.

... and Mel Joseph took my wedding photos! Hi Mel!

Though I don't know you personally. May you rest in peace.

SS: Thanks for weeding out the trouble-maker.

McIntosh of Dallas and Outdoor Family Portraiture with Linda Lapp of Oregon. James was a member of the prestigious Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers Association (Singapore). James Ho was also the Official Portraitist of the National University of Singapore.

is he very famous?

James Ho is considered one of the Portrait Masters of his time. At a time when there's no such thing as PS, his touch up work for his clients is so good that even today, with PS, many still could not produce his kind of workmanship. In many photographer's opinion, if you want a classic portrait done, James Ho is one of the best around.

concurred. we lost one of ours.
