Errmmm... not recommended for photo editing work due to its TN panel. If you are looking at 24", there are other options for you to consider.

What's a TN panel? I just order the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP monitor. This one good for photoediting?

hmm.. I'm fine with any 24" just asking for comments on Dell S2409W
it's definitely cheaper than Dell 2408WFP. It's currently going for S$509.

I missed out on the Comex special so I got it at a higher price at $959 with 5 yrs warranty and free delivery.

Pros: Watching HD Movies (no scaling needed as it is 16:9 ratio)
Got HMDI input
Its thin
5ms good for gaming

Cons: Colours and contrast not that good (due to panel limitation)
Colours/brightness/contrast need to be calibrated. Not good right out of box.
Viewing angle (panel limitation)

Another question, since the monitor 2408 supports HDMI and my videocard also supports HDMI and DVI, which connection should I use to maximize the IQ? It's more for Photoshop rather than movies/games.

TIA!

28' LCD good for movie and new FF DSLR's image processing/editing..
