shot on mahjong paper and window lighting....

rgds,

it's a personal thing, but I would have preferred a bit of "motion" rather than a banana frozen in mid air...but must've been difficult to catch the timing - assuming there was no special effects using PS of course ;)

Kinda reminds me of a joke...

is it "goreng pisang" or "pisang goreng"

interesting ... it'll be more interesting if the 'floating' banana casts a shadow on the bananas below (more convincing)

the floating banana cannot cast shadow because the lightsource is from the side and the shadow would not have fallen in the other bananas.

Anyway I think that there is a stick in the floating banana hidden away from view and through the mahjong paper.

Am I right?

erm...

y cannot be someone drop the banana and he use a fast shutter speed?

m i too simple minded??? :S

y not? but with modern technology, we can use xx FPS to shoot, just set continous via remote control, den 1 hand drop, 1 hand press the remote... provided the flash / strobe can take it...

but den again... it said lighting from side window, hence the shutter speed wouldn't be fast, cos its indoor, and the light source shouldn't be that strong to allow fast shutter speed.

btw i prefer the lightsource from the top down but that way, if use dropping method, guess the hand shadow would be seen. or maybe take light from 45 degree over the camera.

How fast can the shutter speed goes?

How many bananas his wife have to fry?

How many times his wife need to drop the banana into the basket?

How many shots he need to try?

How many time he need to clean up the mess?

How many mahjong paper need to change?

Time flys like an arrow

Fruit flies like a banana

haha, ok ok, i was thinking of 2 lightings from the top casting down to form a smaller shadow below ... like a UFO effect :bsmilie:

I don't see any fruit flies in the picture.
Anyway they like their bananas raw (preferably slightly rotten), not fried.
hahahahahaahhaha :bsmilie: CORNY!!!!!!!!!!!! SS had too much cornflakes for breakfast?

a post script.

Hi Sulhan,

I do hope you realise I was not making fun.

The photo works well for me.
One that I would be happy to have put forth for an advertisement.
Maybe also if one of the remaing 2 was on say a 45 deg angle as if IT too was about to rise ???

The subject simply reminded me of that twisted saying.

Cheers.
