came too late, link already removed...... :p

To TS. Thanks for the heads up.

We as photographer must help each other when we spotted such blatant violation of our rights. The sad thing is, the site in question is about the most notorious in ignoring any requests or demands to take pictures down. Short of a full blown legal investigation, there is not a lot we can do.

The people who originally leached and sent the pictures to the site in questions, or other similar sites, are as culpable, if not more, then the hosting sites. Again, a very hard task to identify and even more difficult to proof who the culprits are. That said, we cannot stop.

Again, thank you for all those who cared to alert me of what happened. I will do all I can, which is not much, but we still need to exercise our rights as we are entitled to.

You're welcome. Although I do pity the model. Some of the comments left were just plain nasty.

lemme guess.... Its a blogspot website right? ;) Starts with a g.....

Anyway, short of not posting one's pictures online, there is nothing anyone here can do about such leeching. Alternatively, portrait shooters can just meet up to share portraits and give comments to each other on a face-to-face meetup with the photos displayed on a laptop. This way, circulation and viewing can be controlled and whoever leaks out the pictures would stand out as obvious as a sore thumb. It also addresses the problem of 'some anonymous people' who would claim that he is the model's boyfriend and tells u to turn over the photos to him (I'm sure that portrait shooters would get mysterious messages from individuals claiming that they are the model's boyfriend and so on).

U dun really need to have a crystal ball.

Internet is for sharing and is it a secret that whatever u post online would eventually be archived and can be hunted down easily? :)
