Took this photo about a week ago. Found that it is pretty amusing to associate my feet, legs to a news article about a dead porn star. Do u also feel such an association? Maybe my feet are too big...and the left foot has some toes cropped accidentally. Threw some grain into the photo and chose b&w...to suit the b&w theme of an old newspaper article...and something like the past...or death.:D

Excellent job! PP work is awesome! Know what? It kinda gives me a weird feeling too especially with that missing left toe. You wouldn't make such pictures especially if you're scared of ... Beware... :devil:

Good job!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Could you give more insight to this image other than it amuses you?

Hmmm... I'd like to see "sexy" and a bit of "sleazy" on the feet to make me think that its the dead porn star. Maybe give it some manicured fingernails? Or use nicer, more feminine looking feet? No offense meant :)

The photo is a result of one of those times when an idea suddenly pops into your head. I was reading the newspaper on my couch, while it just so happened my dslr was by my side...When I saw my feet, and the catchy large title on the news page, i just decided to snap. Felt sad that even a beauty would succumb to the darkness of death...

"Iijima, 36, was found lying in the living room in casual clothes"

An Aids activist, May she rest in peace.

How is it resting in peace when you've brought up her plight in such unflattering & irrelevant light? Morality issues aside, I was vaguely hoping you would have a greater intention behind your image.

If you have a strong point to make, associating it with the dead or living could be artistically justified. However, choosing to throw a bunch of objects together with little purpose but to draw attention to the dead/living shows a few things, none really advantageous for you. Have a deeper thought before the next snap, particularly when it involves the dead or living.

Lighten up, bro. I don't think he meant any offense and none in the pic is offensive and the pic was well done, IMHO.

And yes it was a snap. He saw what he saw, had an idea (foolish it may be), snapped it and voila! Was it art? I'd bet that it is. He pretty much conveyed the feeling he felt when he first saw it, when the idea popped in his mind, when he PP the whole thing.

Should everybody have a profound idea before they shoot? I'd think not.

This photo works for me and the 'dead porn star' idea immediately attracted my attention otherwise i wouldn't be here reading.

For me the photo actually presents a very strong idea that a man who is obsessed with a porn star is now lying on his bed motionless upon learning of her death. You may find it amusing at first, but his obsession grows on you afterwards. The two probably have never met but to him the porn star might be a very close and dear person. If it were a woman's feet it would not have worked at all.

Sorry if I sounded mad or wrote anything in bad taste. If there are objections please PM me I will retract my comment ASAP. Thanks.
