DC ... movie mode

hi, intend to get a consumer DC ... i'm emphasising on a 3MP with a movie mode with sounds ... did a brief research on Canon A70 and COolpix 3100 .. just a qns ... does CO 3100 offer movie mode with sounds ?? Coz it only mentioned with movie, but not sounds ... and wat does 15fps, 40fps in movie mode? does it means the higher the fps, the faster the movie? but doesnt make sense nehz ....

More frames per seconds does not means faster movies.

It means the more frames the smoother it is.

40 fps?? hmmm I don't know why we need 40 fps. NTSC is 29.97 fps, PAL is 25 fps, and I think when animators draw for animation, it is 24 fps. 40 fps is simply redundant.

one more qns ... which DC under $ 600 offers the longest movie recording mode with sounds ? in the mean time waiting for replies ... i will go n do some research on it now ...
