Beautiful skies and beautiful performance!

WOW.

I saw sensor dust and it's loads of them.

may not be sensor but dirty lens... had the same problem..cleaned the lens and those "black dots" went away

He can do a test shot shooting at larger aperture. But those spots seem consistent at their respective locations. :)

I was there too and was getting ready to shoot some fireworks but it rain super heavy...all people are running to shelter...

2 bad things happen when i went there today.

first. when i changed to my zoom lens, dust went onto my sensor. and it was big and clear enuf to be seen!

2nd, when im all ready, had the best view right infront of the firework platform, rain broke down. HEAVY rain. :( was all wet.. :(

i'll see if i can make it next week. ;)

anw sonyboy,

sorry couldnt reply u your message, cos my hp cant sms, call, receive call. only receive message. sorry bro..

Should i get a cleaning then?
but my sony warrenty is over! zzz!

how?

clean the lens first lah... chances are the front end is dirty. I am using a Canon, I basically clean the sensor by using a blower. as mentioned so far for me the dark spot is due to dirty lens (at the front end)

Not necessary it's on the sensor, you can try cleaning the lens (front & rear) with a lenspen first, if the result is still the same then more or less confirm that it's on the sensor, you can try to use a blower which works for me all the time, otherwise you can just send it in to SSC for cleaning.

Hi,

Really hope I can make it on 18 July 2009, cause I wanted to find the correct shooting location and settings for the NDP fireworks on the actual day, as last Sat, rain came in, disrupting my plan.

Just too bad I have IPPT on that day, don't think I can rush down in time. Most likely I will be at the bridge area on 25 July 2009, for the 3rd NE Show. Hope to see you all by then.

;)

Calling all guys!! come on!! PM me if you want to go!!
