I think it looks alright, looks like the picture was intended to be post processed and quite heavily too. Also, it looks more like evening than sunrise. Great effort considering what you had to work with.

i like no 2.. the processing (if any) feels more palatable.. and there's a sense of dreaminess to it..

no 1 just feels over processed..

i was trying out more PP as i used to do minimal PP on my past photos...these are my 1st few attemps..
Actually was trying to get a HDR effect but failed.thanks again..
